SM McGladrey
"is a business services firm offering midsized companies business and tax
consulting, wealth management, retirement resources, payroll services and
corporate finance." They "are a part of RSM McGladrey Business Services,
an H&R Block wholly
owned subsidiary providing accounting, tax, consulting and professional
services to midsized businesses, primarily through its business units: RSM
McGladrey, RSM McGladrey Retirement Resources, RSM EquiCo and RSM
McGladrey Employer Services."
What RSM McGladrey has to say about the American Jobs
Creation Act is summarized in our
reproduction of the
firm's guide. We took the liberty of highlighting a few sentences in
bold red font, so when you see
bold red font in the PDF file, it's
our emphasis, not RSM-McG's emphasis.
The bottom line (pardon the accounting pun) is this: The firm recommends
AJCA for their clients and also recommends that you contact them about how
to best take advantage of the specialized AJCA provisions. Of course, we
could not agree more. With offices just about everywhere, and an
aggressive commitment to save their clients tax money, how can you lose?
The CPA firm has not, however, endorsed the projects described in
our website, nor has the firm reviewed any of our Private Placement
Memorandums of the legal or tax opinions set forth in them.
We have included
a built-in link to the RSM McGladrey's main web page. But to find
specifics about the AJCA on the RSM McGladrey site, you may need to search
their website. The link that reads "RSM McGladrey Guide" on the upper left
saves you a lot of time, however. Much of what they have to say is
summarized their.
